Principal Responisbilities:

– Investigation: Engage in comprehensive investigations into subjects pertaining to generative AI and its various applications within the educational sphere.

– Literature Reviews: Conduct thorough literature reviews on specific research domains.

– Content Creation: Engage in collaboration with researchers to compose blog posts and articles.

– Tool Testing: Assess generative AI instruments to enhance research endeavours.

– Assistance with Publication: Contribute to the creation of a scholarly work focused on generative AI and its implications for education, intended for inclusion in Springer Nature’s UNU AI and Sustainability series.

– Event Organisation: Strategically plan and execute webinars, encompassing speaker coordination and meticulous content preparation.

– Grant Development: Recognise pertinent research grants and formulate proposals on significant topics.

– Conference Preparation: Play an active role in the organisation of the 2025 UNU Macau AI Conference, focusing on the intersection of Generative AI and Education.

Educational Aims:

– Improve research competencies in the domains of generative AI and educational methodologies.

– Cultivate skills in event organisation and expert coordination.

– Enhance the skills related to planning, communication, and teamwork.

Criteria for Eligibility:

– Educational Background: Currently enrolled in or having recently graduated (within the last two years) from a Master’s or doctoral programme in disciplines such as educational technology, communications, computer science, artificial intelligence, digital media, law, business, social sciences, or other related fields.

– Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates expertise in Microsoft Office applications and design software; possesses experience in prompt engineering utilising generative AI tools.

– Language Proficiency: Demonstrates exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
